Offerings to be made to Lord Ganesha
Shami leaves and Durva should be offered to Lord Ganesha on every Wednesday. If Shami leaves are not available then Durva can be offered. Before offering Durva, keep in mind that a knot of 21 Durva is made and in this way 21 Durva knots are offered on the head of Ganesha. By offering Durva, Lord Ganesha is pleased and with his blessing mane of our worldly wishes are fulfilled.
