Grappone Toyota is proud to announce the recipients of the 2023 Toyota Match Program, a philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting local non-profit organizations. Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) has appointed Jay Stewart to their Board of Directors after serving as a corporator for the past 18 years. Stewart served as President of Capital Offset in Downtown Concord until 2013 when the company merged with Puritan Press of Hollis. Now known as Puritan Capital, Stewart is Vice President and Co-Owner of the firm, which is one of the nation’s leading fine art and photography printers. Stewart has served on numerous civil and business boards and committees over the years, most recently, on the Board of Advisors at the University of New Hampshire Museum of Art. He and his wife, Mela, enjoying traveling around the Granite State and currently reside in Franconia.

Concord Hospital has been redesignated by The State of New Hampshire as a Level II Trauma Center and Level III Pediatric Trauma Center. Additionally, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) reverified the Hospital’s Adult Level II designation. The reverification by the ACS recognizes that the Hospital can offer immediate, around-the-clock, emergency treatment for trauma patients. Concord Hospital is one of only three to receive the designation of a Level II Trauma Center in New Hampshire by the ACS. A Level II Trauma Center is a regional institution that provides a high-level of care for all injured patients. Capabilities include 24-hour immediate coverage by general surgeons and other specialties, such as orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, radiology, emergency medicine and critical care.

Brieanna joined the firm in 2001, working out of the Dover, New Hampshire office where she oversees work in the areas of nonprofit, HUD, and low-income housing audits. Ryan launched his accounting career with the firm in 2013 after earning his master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Hampshire. Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord-Merrimack County (PMSPCA) celebrated the completion of the Banks Humane Education Center (BHEC) at 95 Silk Farm Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday June 22nd. SPCA Board Director Tracy Banks cut the ribbon, with assistance from Concord Chamber of Commerce President Tim Sink, PMSPCA Board President Judy Goodnow, Concord Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Michele French from the Granite Group and Heather Capraro from Franklin Savings Bank, and PMSPCA Executive Director Heather Faria.Plans for the BHEC include the PMSPCA’s Compassion Camp for kids, pet owner seminars, yoga with shelter pets, volunteer orientations and PMSPCA events. By hosting these programs in the BHEC, the PMSPCA expects to increase capacity in its main shelter building for animal care and pet adoption programs. The PMSPCA does expect to make the space available for outside organizations to rent at some point in the future.
