The Christmas cake I’ve made for years was this year unusually crumbly, although it is a moist, well fed rich cake, it fell apart when cut. What have I done wrong? Please help
Hi Shaar
This can happen for a variety of reasons ranging from type of flour, not enough eggs/wrong size eggs, not enough liquid or fats and even storage.
Take peek at the many reasons by googling
‘Causes of crumbly fruit cake’. It’s a real eye opener.
Hope suggestions helps ?
