Hi, we are two students from John Carroll University. Last summer we went on an immersion trip to Honduras, where we saw the poor quality of drinking water the citizens have access to. We are currently taking a class regarding healthcare access in Latin America, and have an advocacy project we are working on. For part of our project, we are focusing on raising money and awareness. This will allow us to send some filters to Honduras to hopefully positively impact the lives of a five families. Our goal is to raise $250, which will cover the cost of 5 water filters and check up.
