Elden Ring has three towers spread across its entire map - Oridys's Rise, Testu's Rise and Chelona's Rise - each one of which has a sign outside telling you "Seek three great wise beasts". What it's actually asking you to do is find three glowing blue turtles nearby and kill them.

The Moonlight Altar is home to Chelona's Rise, and this is another rise with the same wise beasts puzzle. The difference is that these three wise beasts are spread far and wide across the huge Moonlight Altar.

The first turtle is found directly to the west of Chelona's Rise, clinging to the cliff's edge below. You can use a bow, a magic spell, or an AoE attack to hit it. The second turtle will take you further afield, at the most southerly tip of the plateau, far to the east.

The first spirit turtle is right in front of the entrance. The second spirit turtle is directly left of the staircase leading into Oridys's Rise.
