Leaderboards (2024)

Public Leaderboards are Valve's official rankings of the top players in four world regions. Rankings are determined by a player's Matchmaking Rating (MMR) in solo ranked matches.

Regions[]

Eligibility[]

To be displayed on the leaderboards, a player must have:

• A top solo ranked MMR in the region.
• At least 300 lifetime matchmaking games played. (PvP matches only.)
• At least 100 lifetime solo ranked games
• At least 14 solo ranked games in the last 21 days in the same division
• Official player info on file
• An account that hasn't been banned

Official Player Name[]

When a player becomes eligible for the leaderboards, the system will prompt the player to enter their Official Player Information for public display. Official player names are also used in tournaments, instead of Steam names.

Players may enter their:

• Display name
  • Your display name will be displayed on the leaderboards.
• Country of residence
  • Your country's flag will be displayed on the leaderboards.
• Professional team
  • Your team's tag will be prefixed to your display name on the leaderboards.
• Professional sponsors
  • Sponsors will be appended to your display name on the leaderboards.
• Player role
  • Core: Mid, carry, off-lane
  • Support

Official Player information can only be changed once every two weeks. Changes may take up to a day to show up on the leaderboards.

Other Information[]

• The leaderboards are updated each hour.
• There are no global leaderboards, because MMR in different regions may not represent equal skill levels across all regions.
