As someone endlessly fascinated by reality TV, I love getting the chance to write about one of my fave topics: the Real Housewives. This week, I interviewed the infamous Erika Jayne. We spoke about what it means to be the villain, what it takes to survive in a show like Housewives and whether or not she has any regrets. (Spoiler—she doesn't.)

Fashion month has come to a close, and now we get to talk about the trends that will inevitably be everywhere in a few seasons. What's coming in fall 2024, according to the runways? Giant fuzzy coats, peplums, and sweaters that are purposely styled in all the wrong ways.My latest:

"Wearing a choker is a bit of drama," says Alexandra Palmer, fashion costume senior curatorat the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Worn snugly fastened around one's neck, the age-old accessory is straightforward by design, yet visually striking and rich with symbolism. And this year, it's found fresh relevance. I recently went to Paris (ah!) to interview Clare Waight Keller about her new collection with UNIQLO. Available today, Uniqlo: C is about providing an easy everyday wardrobe, with key pieces like wrinkle-proof pleated skirts and all-season oversizedtrenches."The most challenging thing for women is that there’s so much choice out there that sometimes it’s quite difficult to get dressed in the morning. There’s also thissense of being very self-conscious," she told me. "I wanted the idea of effortlessness… For me, it’s a lot about feeling and emotion when you get dressed."💫 Read the full piece for FASHION here:https://lnkd.in/gBM-FNcv

Last week marked the end of my time as the Staff Writer at Girlboss. Working with this team was a career highlight, and I feel so lucky to have gotten the chance to contribute to the Girlboss Daily newsletters. Liz Guber and Victoria Christie are creative, thoughtful and supportive, and I always felt like a valued member of the team, even though I was part-time! Since starting at Girlboss, I've been able to explore everything from AI anxiety to celebrity side hustles to Rat Girl Summer. I've grown as a writer, and I'm walking away with a greater understanding of the nuances of working women in 2023. Through it all, I felt the connection that readers have with this platform and witnessed firsthand how special the Girlboss community is. Everyone who makes up this team is passionate, witty and incredibly kind. Can't wait to continue reading and supporting from the sidelines! ❤️
