Rev Indy celebration kicks off the night before fundraiser at IMS (2024)

Honorary Rev co-chairs Ed and Heather Carpenter joined other guests at Tinker Street to get things started the night before Rev at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Rev celebration started early in Indianapolis Friday night.

Honorary co-chairs, IndyCar driver and team owner Ed Carpenter and his wife, Heather, along with celebrity chef Beau MacMillan, joined other guests at Tinker Street to get things started the night before Rev at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The event Saturday night benefits the IU Health Foundation.

Carpenter grew up in Indianapolis and said it's great to give back.

"We're in this community, we have kids in school here, you know, so being a part of different great organizations, which Indy has many, is just always something that's fun to be a part of," Carpenter said.

Many people from 13News will be at IMS participating in the Rev festivities, including Anne Marie Tiernon, Dave Calabro, Julia Moffitt, Jalea Brooks and Laura Steele.
