my expectations were f*cking low but it managed to go even lower.

Boyapati fails big time.First half is manageable with few good comedies, typical boya mass & action scenes.Second Half turns completely cringe and unwatchable. Horrible screenplay & direction.Wrong script choice by Ram Charan after his blockbuster outing with rangasthalam.Watch it at your own risk.

there’s a scene where the hero jumps out of a window, lands on a moving train, and rides on top of it for like 300+ miles, but they deleted it because it was apparently too illogical, which is hilarious when you realize they thought that the rest of this was even remotely logical (e.g. snake bites the villain and the snake dies).

Hey! I'll make you pee in your pants from today!

Since I've seen it in theaters, I have been just absolutely enthralled by RRR. It has yet to leave my mind, and I am not really sure when it will. So, I've been hankering for more Telugu cinema, and here is my next taste of it. I say this with my very, very minor experience with Indian films at this point, but I fully understand the overwhelmingly negative rating this has on both Letterboxd and IMDb. I don't really think this is much of a "good" movie, but I had such a blast with it regardless that I would feel wrong not giving it "three star classic" status. Biggest highlight…

I wish more directors started their movies with a vanity clip of them looking into the camera and going "ACTION!"

Four orphan boys find a baby in the bushes, so they decide to raise it as their own, and the baby grows up to be the dashingly charismatic Ram Charan (Co-star of RRR), who swears he will protect his brothers (and their family) no matter what.

From that wild prologue, we get a standard domestic/romantic comedy featuring a cast of super-rich characters (My god, their house is nauseatingly enormous) peppered with absolutely bonkers action scenes. Ram loves his family so much that it imbues him with the power to knock over brick walls with a single punch and kill 300…

Boyapati Srinu's #VinayaVidheyaRama is not a good movie in any conventional sense, but it is mostly entertaining. Thanks in large part to Srinu's almost obstinate determination to put the most ridiculous things on screen he can think of, logic be damned!

Between the awkward comedy tracks and largely risable acting, Srinu creates some truly mind-boggling action sequences that oscillate between impossibly dumb and impossibly rad. Often managing to occupy the magical space where the two collide.

Much has been said in the press about a particularly empty-headed sequence that sees Rama (Ram Charan) jump through an airport window, onto the roof on a moving train, then onto a horse to travel over 325 km in a matter of minutes.

    The…

I mean, I definitely didn't know that the best way Boyapati can top his natural work is by not even trying at all. This is a film where Boya's hands are off the steering wheel. There's the laziest filler and misogyny, no effective drama and absolutely no effort in the writing, yet it's still some of the most fast-paced excitement you'll ever get for 2hr 30mins. Only breakless absurdity is Boya's future.

It's not good. Don't let any goddamned idiot convince you for one moment that this is worth watching. There is better, more interesting trash to watch.
It's funny at first, but then you have the misogyny. The shoddy action. the lack of a story. The nonexistent chemistry. The way this director has never interacted with a female. It becomes increasingly clear every second why Ram Charan apologized for ever being in this film. The badness just goes on and on until you are sucked dry of all your interest. There are few things i have managed to regret more in this year, so.. just please close this tab. Don't even think about this film's name. Your time is precious. I love you very much and you deserve better. You really do.

I've seen a fair few wh*yes say they love this movie & can't find a difference between this and films Indians say are good, which is reflective of westerners' very f*cked, very condescending view of Indian popular cinema & which also has the energy of five year old me loving the Street Fighter movie and Terminator 2 with the same gusto.

But anyway, the ultimate movie for penis haters

  • Review by Term1nator ½

One of the worst films of Ram Charan's. The whole film doesn't make sense at all. How can you take out military base but you can't take out just one ordinary human. Senseless and ridiculous.
