Welcome to planDisney! I am glad to see you here as I have good news! Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is not closing! Located in Disney's Hollywood Studios it is a themed land where travelers arrive to Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. It's included with your regular Park ticket for exploration and adventure. I love riding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistancewith my family.I also make it a ritual to purchase a Cold Brew Black Cafe and Buttered Blue Grainsfrom Kat Saka's Kettle. I have to fight with my kids for some of that popcorn.
I wonder though, if you are mixing up Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge with the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser which had its last journey in space on September 30, 2023. This was a special role-playing and imaginative resort where guests were transported to "space" on a ship for a few exciting days. It was a truly unique experience and I am sad that it is gone and I did not have a chance to experience it.

It's such a great example of how Walt Disney Imagineering continues to make the impossible possible.

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
