As we compute the cost of the dining plan and the credits you get with each, we’ve figured out that anything over $6 is a good snack value.
It won’t surprise you to know that most snacks that are eligible are less than $6, which is why we’ve put together this list that includes the cash price for each.
How do you know what’s a snack credit?
Disney uses a DDP icon on their menus to indicate items that are eligible to be purchased with snack credits.
You’ll see this at snack carts, Quick Service locations, and Epcot festival booths.

What counts as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan?
Anything listed on menus located at snack carts, Quick Service locations, and Epcot festival menus with the DDP icon next to it counts as a snack credit.
Can I use my snack credits for anything other than snacks?
No, they can’t be used for anything other than items noted as snacks.
Can I use my snack credits for alcohol?
No, there aren’t snack credits for alcohol. However, 1 alcoholic drink can be added to Quick Service and Table Service meals where available.
Can I save my snack credits and use them all on the last day?
You can! Although the number of credits you get is determined by the number of nights of your stay, you can use them anytime between check-in and midnight on your checkout day.
Are there gluten-free or allergen-friendly snack options available on the dining plan?
Yes, definitely. Since there’s such a huge variety of items available, many of them are allergy friendly.
If mobile ordering, scroll all the way to the bottom to see which items 1.) fit with your allergy and 2.) count as snacks. This only works if you have 1 allergy since that’s how the menus are organized. You’ll have to ask in person if you have multiple food allergies.
Where can I use my snack credits?
Snack credits can be used anywhere you see the DDP icon on menus in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.
Can I combine snack credits to make a meal?
You can definitely use multiple snack credits at once to get items that will make a meal. We especially like doing this at Epcot festival booths.
What you can’t do anymore is use a Quick Service credit as 3 snacks.
Are there any healthy items that are available as snacks?
Although the highest priced items don’t tend to be healthy items, you can definitely use snack credits for things like fruit, yogurt, hummus, and bottled water.
Do my snack credits expire?
Snack credits expire on midnight of your checkout day.
Is Starbucks included in the DDP?
Yes, it sure is. In fact, 1 of the best uses of snack credits is Starbucks drinks that cost $6+ because all of the extra pumps of flavors that you’d normally have to pay for a la carte are included in the snack credit.
