Oh boy! I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year than at the Walt Disney World Resort! Being able to celebrate with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the gang sounds like the perfect plan!
When visiting any of the four theme parks, you are allowed to bring in bags, backpacks, coolers, etc. However, there are specific size requirements that need to be met in order to do so. Any of these items cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. If so, they are not allowed in any theme park or water park. Additionally, do not plan to bring in loose or dry ice to keep your items cold. Re-usable ice packs are allowed and will be your best bet.
Lawanda, I hope you get a chance to visit the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT during this trip. Typically, a special fireworks display will be held at each of these parks on this night. I have heard they are extraordinary and the perfect way to close out a magical year! Also, each of these parks has recently welcomed amazing new thrill attractions. TRON Lightcycle / Run can be found in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is located over at EPCOT. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I highly suggest making these top priorities during your stay!
