What is the answer to the chelona's rise? ›

You need to ride the spiritspring up to hit the tortoise as you do. It may take a few tries. Once you hit all three tortoises you'll receive the message “the seal on the rise has opened”, informing you that you've solved the Chelona's Rise puzzle.

Elden Ring: Chelona's Rise Rewards

At the top of the tower, fans will find a chest that contains Ranni's Dark Moon. This powerful Elden Ring sorcery launches a "cold, dark moon" at enemies, and many players will be glad to add it to their arsenals of spells.

The first turtle is found directly to the west of Chelona's Rise, clinging to the cliff's edge below. You can use a bow, a magic spell, or an AoE attack to hit it. The second turtle will take you further afield, at the most southerly tip of the plateau, far to the east.

This unlocks after defeating Rennala, and is a place you'll likely return whenever you want to respec. Open the locked chest off to Rennala's left. Inside, you'll find the Dark Moon Ring. This is the Ring of Oath, which is “symbolic of a cold oath” as referenced in the ring's description.

It gives you nothing but the cryptic clue, “seek three wise beasts. The wise beasts in question are sectral tortoises found in the vicinity of the tower and, as you might have guessed, there are three to find. You can spot the first venerable old tortoise on the path behind you, near the lectern.

The first spirit turtle is right in front of the entrance. The second spirit turtle is directly left of the staircase leading into Oridys's Rise. It's hiding in the bushes, and therefore a bit hard to spot. The third spirit turtle is in the middle of the pond on the right side (west) of the tower's entrance.

Dante Running from the Three Beasts

Dante meets three creatures: a leopard, a lion, and a she-wolf. Selecting these three creatures in succession has many possible purposes. A passage from the bible, Jeremiah 5:6, invokes these same exact animals as omens for those who refuse to beg for forgiveness for their sins.

Upon showing her the Medallion half, she'll note that this must mean Albus trusts you; she then explains to you that she can show you where the other half is, but only if you promise to take her to Miquella's Haligtree. Once you agree to her terms, she will transform into a summonable Spirit Ash.

Go back to Ranni's Rise and let her know you have the Fingerslayer Blade. Speak to her and make sure you exhaust her dialogue options to receive the Carian Inverted Statue. Renna's Rise will now be unlocked. You can find this to the northeast of Ranni's Rise.

Give her the Dark Moon Ring, and you'll be rewarded with the Dark Moon Greatsword. Congratulations, you've finished what may be Elden Ring's biggest sidequest. As a post-quest bonus, if you return to Ranni's Rise you'll find Blaidd waiting for you. He'll pick a fight with you.

Lenne's Rise has just one enemy, Arcane Sphere of Faces. It's not threatening since it doesn't move or have any deadly attack. Players can ignore it and walk upstairs to open the chest there. It contains a Memory Stone, which will increase Tarnished's spell slots by one.

How to Get to Sellia Hideaway. In eastern Caelid, you'll want to head north of the Church of the Plague. Passing up the ridge, you'll spot a set of tombstones with a sorcerer amongst them. Behind the largest of the tombstones, head to the cliff and strike it to reveal it to be an illusory wall.
