What is iCIMS Community? ›

iCIMS opens a new window is a modern applicant tracking system that will enable campus users to: Simplify the process for attracting, recruiting, and hiring candidates from a centralized system.

Clicking the approval link within the email will launch the Job Approval screen where the user can choose to Approve or Decline the job. The user can also add a note explaining to the job creator why the position was approved or declined. Only the most recent comment per approver is retained, if applicable.

User admins can configure the application status that displays to candidates on an iCIMS Applicant Tracking (ATS) career site on a per-status and per-site basis. Recruiting Workflow bins and statuses without a configured label will display as "Under Review" to the candidate.

Hidden: A hidden status is effectively retired from use; it does not display as an option when taking action on new hires and cannot be used in searches or reports. Notes: Statuses that are no longer used by an organization can be hidden to remove them from use; statuses cannot be deleted.

A community app is a mobile application that lets you host an interactive virtual community. A good community app gives users the ability to engage with discussions, comment and like posts, and share and watch videos.

Common interview types, such as video interviews and phone screens, are prepopulated with information from the associated system profiles. Additionally, interview invitations are prepopulated from an email template. This saves users valuable time by simplifying and automating the interview scheduling process.

Can I follow up on my Job Application with the Company I applied for? Following up on your application is an important part of your job search. You will need to contact the Hiring Manager at the location you applied to in order to check the status of your job application.

A: After applying for a position their status will reflect where the applicant is in the process. Statuses visible to candidates are: Received Submission, Under Review, No Longer Under Consideration, Extended Contingent Offer and Hired.

“Under Review” means that your application has been received and is in the screening or background check process. There is nothing else you need to do.

Does under review mean rejected? ›

The “application under review” status typically indicates that the hiring manager wants to make sure that they get to know you better before making a decision. However, it only sometimes means you have passed the initial screening process. Companies only accept applicants instantly if they match the criteria.

The Candidate Approval Process is used to submit a candidate for internal approval prior to sending the candidate to the hiring manager, allowing the corporate hierarchy to review the candidate before starting the interview process.

After candidate profiles are marked for deletion, they can be purged from the system. A user admin can manually schedule a purge or if desired, schedule automated purges. User admins interested in automated purges should submit a case to iCIMS Technical Support.
