INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” is just a few days away. And before the drivers start their engines, our team here at WNDU got a chance to chat with the only female driver in this year’s Indianapolis 500.
Katherine Legge is one of only nine women to have ever raced in an Indy 500. She will be making her fourth career Indy 500 start on Sunday afternoon.
The 43-year-old driver from England chatted with Lauren Moss and Joshua Short about her emotions heading into the big race and how empowering it is to have e.l.f. cosmetics as her primary sponsor amid a very positive female movement in the world of sports.
You can watch their full conversation in the video above!
The 108th Indianapolis 500 will air on WNDU this Sunday at 12:30 p.m., with pre-race coverage starting at 11 a.m. To visit the IMS Ticket Marketplace, click here.
