The company's president said the new version of this item will be called the McCrispy Snack Wrap. According to a press release from the company, the McCrispy will be offered in McDonald's markets around the world by 2025 and will include everything from tenders to Snack Wraps, plus new menu items in the line.

Employees and franchisees complained about the time the Snack Wraps took to make, and as the inefficiency of their assembly made service slower and affected the restaurant's efforts to keep service time low, the item was removed from the menu.

The return of the wrap comes after years of campaiging from fans for its revival after it was taken off the menu in 2020. Over the years there's been 22 petitions to bring back the cult item to the menu, with fans often requesting it on McDonald's social media accounts whenever they announce a new menu.

The McDonald's Snack Wrap description is as follows … “Made with 100% Canadian raised seasoned chicken topped with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese and ranch sauce wrapped in a soft white flour tortilla.”
